The York Rite Bodies of Maryland will meet in a unified Session in Cumberland, Maryland on the weekend of October 24& 25, 2008. Maryland York Rite Bodies have amended their several Constitutions to meet on the fourth Friday of October and the following Saturday. The Best Western Hotel in LaVale, MD will be the base of operations, and the meetings will be held in some combination of the Ali Ghan Shrine facilities and the Cumberland Lodge Building.
The order of the meetings, and the banquet arrangements and social activities are still in development. The Grand Commandery will hold a Semi Annual Conclave May 3-2008 2:00 PM Odenton Masonic Temple, Odenton,Maryland.
The Grand Royal Arch Chapter and Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Maryland will meet in semi-annual sessions on Saturday, May 10, 2008. The intended location at present is the Masonic Lodge in Rockville, MD. These will be working sessions to take up the business activities of theses Grand Bodies and to elect the officers to be installed in October 2008. At present, the plans will be for a light lunch between sessions, but no social activities. While our Companions and Sir Knights from other jurisdictions are always welcomed visitors, there will be no accommodations prepared for these meetings.
